Wiltya Vari, meaning 'Dark Night River' in Adnyamathanha language.

OUR COMMITMENT TO OUR CORE VALUES

Growth, adaptability, and resilience.

Named 'Dark Night River' in the Adnyamathanha language, Wiltya Vari symbolises our commitment to core values — growth, adaptability, and resilience.

As a collaborative venture between WilsonCo, a 100% Indigenous-owned engineering and fabrication company, and Diverso Resources, a recruitment agency specialising in human resources and pre-employment training, Wiltya Vari embodies a shared vision of empowerment and inclusivity.

Wiltya Vari is committed to creating opportunities for Indigenous Australians and diverse individuals. In navigating the ever-changing fields of engineering, training, and recruitment, we aim to set a higher benchmark for the industry, showcasing our dedication to breaking barriers and fostering a more equitable future.

Leading the way as South Australia’s first partly-woman owned engineering and fabrication business.

As the first engineering and fabrication business part-owned by a woman in South Australia, Wiltya Vari embodies diversity at its core. This unique ownership structure not only reflects our commitment to inclusive practices but also ensures that decision-makers within the organisation represent various minorities.

INSPIRATION BEHIND THE WILTYA VARI BRAND

Behind the brand

In a dedicated effort to create meaningful opportunities for Indigenous talent, Wiltya Vari collaborated with Indigenous Artist, Breanna Croft.

Wiltya Vari Dreaming, acrylic on canvas, 2024

This artwork symbolises Wiltya, the nurturing river of darkness, fostering growth and adaptation to life's changes. The coloured circles unite diverse cultures encountered in Wiltya Vari’s journey, while loved ones along the river's edge provide support. Aqua dots signify ancestral guidance, and black/grey dots represent the enduring connection of Indigenous people with the elements—earth, water, skies, and seas—woven into their daily lives.

The Wiltya Vari Logo, acrylic on canvas, 2024

By Indigenous artist, Breanna Croft, the logo signifies the unity of diverse cultures converging together. The small aqua dots represent individuals guided by their ancestors, with Wiltya—the dark river—flowing through the circle, guiding the company on its journey and connecting its people.
